Finally, my vision has come to life! This wall has been in the back of my brain since we bought the house, and my wonderful husband brought my vision to life.
We tried to keep cost down where we could. We had some spare wood in the garage for some of the shelf, made the wall with pine (cheaper), and bought the pine slats in a value back. Below you will find the links to the products we used.
The pegs we used were from Lowe’s, and can be found here: BIRCH PEGS
The button plugs we used to cover the screw holes (and they can be stained) can be found here: BUTTON PLUGS
For the wall, we used EverTrue V-Groove Wall Panels from Lowe’s. Runs about $12.00 for a pack of 6 boards. These boards are light weight, 8 ft tall so they can fit in most cars to get them home, and stain very easily. You can find a direct link this pack of pine paneling here: PINE PANELING.
The other wood we used for the shelf portion of the wall were just non treated pine boards. Depending on what size you want your shelf to be, the wood will run you around $25.00 for an 11ft wide wall like ours. We also bought a 10ft pine baseboard that cost us about $12.00.
For the stain, we used Simply White by Minwax and sealed the boards with a Clear Satin Polyurethane.
This wallpaper from Walls Need Love is peel and stick. You can also order it as traditional wallpaper. The peel and stick was super easy to apply.
