Gift season is upon us! Are you the type of shopper that waits until the last minute (usually me)? Or do you like to get a jumpstart on your shopping lists and just sit and chill for the month of December because you’re ahead of the game? Well, whenever you decide to go shopping, here are some ideas that have been tried and tested by our Edie girl.
This scooter is hands down Edie’s favorite past time. We love it so much we bought two! Hah, well, I actually lost one and we needed a replacement because Edie loves it so much. It’s so easy for her to maneuver, and took her no time at all to figure out how to use. It glides smoothly and the wheels light up, great value for the money!
It might seem so simple, but toddlers love to carry stuff around with them. Edie loves to pack her backpack, carry her own water bottle (this backpack has a water bottle pocket on the side), and stuff it with all of her own treasures to take on adventures with her. Also, if she loses the backpack (leaves it behind something and doesn’t know where it is for a day), when she finds it, all the toys she left in there are new and exciting because she had forgotten all about them, win win! All of these backpacks are part of the Zoo Collection by Skip Hop and are only $20! Also machine washable, a must with a toddler.
We have used this fishing set in the tub and outside in our water table! I love that these fish do not hold water (don’t have to worry about mold, there are no holes), and there are a variety of fish and other sea creatures to play with. You catch the fish with magnets on the end of the fishing pole, but there are also nets to scoop up fishies too.
We’ve been using this tricycle since Edie could sit up on her own! She loved going for walks riding on her bike and now she can peddle and ride it all by herself! The handle height is adjustable and the bike can be changed as they grow to suit their needs!
Other colors:
This bike took a little getting use to, but once Edie finally got the hang of it, we can’t get her off of it. This version is reasonably priced, 1/3 of the cost of a Strider balance bike (we’ve seen that brand a lot at parks). Glides smoothly across the pavement, well made, and comes in a variety of colors!
